Meet Emily May

My style is down to earth, engaging and real. From the moment you walk into the room my full attention is on who you are as a person, not your list of symptoms and diagnoses. I believe therapy needs to be a perfect fit for you, that you need to feel inspired by the process and supported and challenged to grow.

I am multi-passionate and love to learn, so my skillset and experience is diverse. I don’t specialize in problems; I specialize in people. I enjoy the beauty and challenge of tailoring therapy to your unique personality, history, struggles and strengths.

I believe in teamwork – we work together to create opportunities for change and transformation. I bring almost 10 years clinical experience and a lifetime commitment to help you transform hardship into hope and experience true mental health and well being.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll find me riding my bike, drinking tea and writing my first book.

Your physical environment can have a profound impact on your mood, energy and clarity. The Fostering Hope Psychology studio was professional designed in collaboration with an interior designer to support clients to feel relaxed, welcomed and inspired. Each piece of art and furniture has been carefully selected to create a warm, positive environment to foster your personal growth.
